Conclusion

In conclusion, we have observed that majority of the blog entry are about people, or the video is intended for blog purposes. It is noticeable that more than 50% of the 'uploaders' of the videos are below the age of 40. In addition, English is the dominant language of the users and most of which come from Western countries.

Therefore, based on our experiments, we could conclude that YouTube is a popular resource for streaming videos especially those in Western countries, as well as majority of the "uploaders" are below 20 years of age.

When it comes to security, YouTube is trying to enforce responsible content sharing to its users ass they block or delete explicit or offensive videos.

What is the name of your SNS?
Faceback – Facebook + Brokeback

Who are the target members? How will you call your members?
Target members are gays and lesbians. We plan to call them by spreading the information through homosexual organizations, campaigns of lesbians and gays, and through the homosexual communities.

Why would you want to create this SNS? What are the benefits?
It is a fact and it is inevitable that homosexuals in our current society are being discriminated. Whether we admit it or not, homosexual discrimination is present in our society. In addition, having uprising news about homosexuality being God made and not man made gave us the inspiration of doing this. Thus, as a result, homosexuals try to hide their true identity even if they were born with it like for example the gay firefighter in the movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. He felt more complete when he had been able to get out from his shell and say to the world that he is gay. They try to hide something they did not even had a chance to choose to start with and given this, we hope to give just a little light of hope to these individuals through this SNS.

What will make your SNS unique compared to other existing ones? What unique interaction will you provide your members?

First of all, all existing SNS that are popular nowadays gave us only two choices – sex: male or female. By this simple choice of existing SNSs, they are already having discrimination of the sexes that are in between Current SNS never acknowledged the presence of sexes of the homosexuals. Therefore it is a need for a SNS that will cater to the homosexuals and therefore this made our SNS Faceback unique. It will be like Facebook where people are to meet other people. But, your relationships with your online friends will be different as it will be based on an online game. This game is House-Housan derived from the children game “Bahay Bahayan”. There, there will be an avatar of them but, this avatar has no restrictions to dressing. You can choose a male character and still have the options of owning women’s costumes. The concept this game is to provide the users what real life has taken away from them. Here they can marry each other, experience the responsibilities of being married, and even have children which they are supposed to feed them on time and to take care. They also should make money through the games provided so that they can have money to shop for food and even their clothing for their avatar.
